J. K. Rowling’s ‘The Tales of Beedle the Bard’, famous storybook mentioned in the last instalment of the Harry Potter series, has been now released in India by Penguin. 7 copies (each one individually handwritten and illustrated by the author herself) of this widely anticipated book were originally released in the UK last year, reportedly raising a phenomenal $3.89 million for charity.

This fictional book was first mentioned in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as a collection of fairy tales for the children of the wizard community. The five tales comprising the book are titled “The Wizard and the Hopping Pot”, “The Fountain of Fair Fortune”, “The Warlock’s Hairy Heart”, “Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump”, and “The Tale of the Three Brothers”.
